Lithium Batteries have a high energy density so are great for saving weight in applications such as boats and scooters.

​

They also have a life of 5000 to 10 000 Cycles and have a Depth of Discharge of 80% to 90% compared to 50% on an AGM Battery.

​

So a 100 Ah AGM Battery equivilent in Lithium would be about 60 Ah & will have a life about 5 times as long so Lithium can work out to be the cheaper option.
